yep, here i am.
blogging about a mundane Singapore sec four student's terribly boring life.

haha, i was surfing the net for some random news, then i chanced upon this website talking about the guy's holiday or something in spain. and then there was another link about another american in london.
and then looking at all those cool pictures that for me, only appear in travel guides, i was just thinking about us, bored, sickly students under the education system of singapore...

oh well, enough.
had oral examinations in the morning.
i had the chance to score perhaps full marks but i blew it. i totally blew it. o.0
first of all, my oral examiner was mdm zuraidah, who, obviously is, the band teacher-in-charge.
secondly, the reading passage was about a guy who was reminiscing the days when he played the saxophone.
lastly, the conversation, yes, the f___ing conversation, was about a musical experience you had.

come on, this is like the perfect time for me to score distinction for oral lah. i'm a band member, i play the saxophone, and like duh, i've participated in a musical event. come to think of it mdm zuraidah looked perked up all of a sudden when it was my turn because she knew me. zzz. and obviously the conversation i spoke of a performance, which sadly was the syf '09
i was thinking of ranting on about the band's dissatisfaction about her during the conversation but i predicted that would cost me marks, so gladly, i stopped.

yea, wadever. it's gone. =.=
speaking of which, i think i've gotten sort form of speech deficiency or something after reading through a list of cheeem idioms. hmmm. i was desperately trying to find a synonym for the word "terrified" and i kind of took like, 2-3 seconds? finally i thought of intimidated. -.-

june holidays here, studying time's here, o level's here (soon).
oh well.

hmm my mum's signed up for an English lesson as it's kind of annoying because she's like using this search engine thing called "google"! oooooh, how interesting~! o.0
is it natural for people to keep reading out stuff even though you tell them not to?
i mean, it's just so frigging irritating when she has to like read out every single word from the text.
my big bro's told me once that he hates it when my mum is around, cus he can't concentrate on anything at all because somehow he'll just stare and my mother like a tv. :]

i wonder what it's like to have a parent who's actually a university graduate or something. intriguing.

ah, well. i've got to finish the stupid bio proj mdm yong assigned us. i think her menopause is coming real soon. she's getting really cranky and stuff. oh yea, her bio workbook too. sigh.
