2013: all these kinda seem redundant, guess we all have different likes and hobbies and perspectives now.

well well. recently still a bit busy :]

PARTIAL SECTION OUTING
went to causeway point yesterday to buy presents for Zoelyn and Donna
"Siyang won't come one"
"Ehh, no gift ideas o.0"
"A bit quiet ah, let's play the 20 things game :]"

ok, so as u can see, we didn't really make a card for Siyang..
it's just almost the same situation as trumpet's Daryl, just that we really really ended up not making for him.
we decided to make cards for the two of them first, since the shops weren't open when we reached the place.

when we were done with the cards, we went to get a present..
but we ended up just getting two 2.5 reeds WHICH WERE FRIGGIINNGG EEXXXXX.
bloody, they cost $6 each!! woah!
VICTORIA, u better stop spoiling your reeds regularly like, say once a month or something =.=
IF NOT I FORBID U TO CHANGE REED!

went to pizza hut after that.
FELIX TEO was ruining our drinks by putting cheese and chilli powder into Vic's and my drinks =.= urrh.
waited damn long.
I decided not to call the waitress/waiter after I got dao-ed once since Felix keeps teasing me.
After that, i just let them zi shen zi mie. I don't mind waiting anyway... in the end no one got their bills or orders until vic or edlind decided to call the waitress. pls la, i was pissed can?

Went home after that.
really irritated when ppl such as xxxx keeps bugging me and asking me what to do later, etc etc.
I ALREADY SAID, i'll keep u informed!
somehow i regretted asking some ppl to go.
anyhow settled the meetup and went to sleep for an hour before preparing for the VS concert.

VS CONCERT MUSICAL WORLD 23rd
Met up with Ash, Apple, Yuwei, Say hua at JE mrt station.
took the train to raffles place.
Met aloysius there.
what.
got our tickets, etc..

Hmm, sorry Sam, i think we wasted your free ticket.
Anyway why was there a paid ticket inside? :] Thank you for your kind intentions anyway!
We were at the counter, asking for an envelop under "sam", then we waited damn long still dont have.. hahahaha.
In the end i found out it was reserved under my name o.0
hehh :)

saw Mr Tan before we went inside. Said hi, didn't really talk much cus we hadn't much to talk, really.
I went in with the other girls first, while ash and aloysius waited for donna and joan to pass the tickets.

Apple saw 'her' Jeremy. HAHA. quite cute sia :]
okay, maybe cus it's a boy's school, quite a number of the guys in vscb are more shuai (seriously
) than perhaps 90% of the guys we have in band. *thinking hard for the 10%, cnt really find one o.0*
lol, we're just so evil.
i think understanding a person more leads to more conflict sometimes.
i'd rather stay more distance to someone, cus gradually we find out that we'll see more and more qualities of the person, usually those that we dislike, especially ppl of the opposite sex..
why? i can't say. but i guess it's just human nature to actually find the lousy qualities in someone, rather than the pros.

hmm, u may be thinking i'm actually refering to someone in particular, i'm not. i'm just stating facts in my opinion.
and maybe u can say it's just me with my eccentric temperament. but i can really get nasty or cold when i get particular about that irritating-ness of someone. once again, i'm trying not to be specific.

we were actually quite smart to kope the second row seats. haha, the sound was powerful enough from there and u can actually seeee everyyyyone up close :]

the played their syf piece and etc, i must say, it really isn't surprising they're a gold band.
they don't freak out under pressure or in front of audiences and their technique is goood, seriously.
sigh.. memories from syf '09 are starting to pop out in my head..
once again, i shall bring out the fact that i felt that we did pretty well during practice. somehow or rather we made A LOT of mistakes during the actual thing. we lack experience.
i think it'll be good if we get a chance to actually perform on stage more often. be it in front of the school or outside. it'll do us good, since from my past experience, things DON'T screw up in the band room. we screw up most of the time on stage.

woah, for saxophones, i think they did very well.
they didn't stick out from the band when they're playing.
AND ZOMG HASSAN WAS A KNOCKOUT DUDE.
his solos were just... WOAH.

which reminds me, i'd better work on my vibrato :]
long year coming up ahead!

didn't see sam, i think he was sitting on the third chair from the front.
i only saw the first and second.
but i saw him once when he moved to the second chair!!! :]
for once piece only, sadly T.T

i really liked the idea of the soloists standing up to play for selected pieces.
1. it takes courage
2. they sound better

their concert was goood. i mean, yea, darn, it's at VCH.
but i sincerely hope that for this year's concert, we can achieve the same standard.
both in terms of musicianship and entertainment :]
they've got an interesting percussion ensemble piece,
really cool emcees (the guy in black with a white vest is darn good emcee!! will talk about him later :])
and their alumni band was great also. but a bit loud. haha :)

Bella Notte Musicale III shall also have:
1. at least a section ensemble piece, or combined section piece
2. good emcees. (lol)
3. great pieces (duh)
4. hopefully the ticket's not free like previous years..

aiya, next time then think. a bit early :]

at the end of the concert, when everyone cleared, i think i saw SAM! :]
some guy was waving at me at the end of the concert..
"woah, that guy looks like sam!"
then i looked around and saw no one, squinted for a while and started waving hysterically back at him!!! HAHA :]
lols;

had supper without aloysius, cus he had to go home.
ate mac :]
in the end i think i had motion sickness when i took the long long ride~ home on 106!

oh yea, speaking about the emcees,
the emcee i was talking about, he said this joke, that i got almost immediately after he said it (i'm usually quite lag at jokes, so..)
There were three hollywood actors, Vin Diesel, Jack something (i don't remember) and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
When asked which musician they wanted to be, Vin Diesel said, I'll be Mozart.
Jack said, I'll be Beethoven.
Arnold Schwarzenegger said, I'll be Bach.

GET IT? hahahaha. just by the way, Arnold Schwarzenegger acted in The Terminator, and there's this super duper famous quote from his, "I'll be back."
HAHAH :]

wheeeee! VSCB CONCERT WAS A KNOCKOUT!!!
and i just love the vs boys! :]

NHSB 3RD ANNUAL INVESTITURE
a bit long ah, this post. i also know =.=

woke up at 7 even though i reached home at i-don't-remember-what time (super late)
after eating supper. :]

got ready, didn't bother ironing my shirt and skirt cus it was quite neat and looked like it was pressed already :]
took a bus, blah blah blah with say hua.

reached there.. blah blah blah again..
then the thing started.
Donna and Benedict step down ler T.T
lol, Vera didn't go, so I couldnt claim my present. haha!
Only Zoelyn gave me the chocolate (which darn, had quite a bit of liquer inside.)
:]

helped Ash wrap his pathetic sweets for YiQuan. =.=
in my construction paper. he's like darn lucky i brought my sticky tape and stuff lah, if not i see how he tear the tape off..

gave Zoelyn and Donna their presents. Before we even knew it, SiYang was gone already o.0
not that bad lah, actually :]
i think we all felt quite bad, cus Siyang did buy chocolates for us.. heh..

camwhore in the band room for damn long..
then by the time we went down for the buffet lunch it was like long gone already.. in the stomach of the band members :]
hahaha! :)

we went down, and yijun, junjie and sharon were like half-mugging already T.T
haish.. that's what jc does to u.

okay, now i shall comment on the posts.
Benedict gave quite an inspiring speech, which would be perfect if his voice wasn't that monotonous..
Donna's was short and sweet, but rather motivational.
Ash's was reallly short. But i think the way he delivered his speech was very good. It sort of just threw the points he wanted to convey without being diley-dalley.
Aloysius's was.. erm, sorry to be mean, but one word describes it all, failed.

lol.. he kept stuttering, then he was practically repeating what ash had said. sian.
heng sia. jerome and i don't have to give speech. haha :]

sheesh. joe jee got discipline master. wow. i mean, he's always the only one eating in the band room. not sweets. chicken drumlet somemore o.0

mr tan gave a little speech also. which wasn't very little o.0
quite long. haha..
he talked about victoria tan. he said she improved a lot, then i think quite a lot of us were like, where got.

haha.. life's like that. i shall mug tmr. havent really touched homework.
don't feel like doing cip next wednesday, or should i?
