concert's over
sounds weird...
maybe not used to it?

yesterday was our concert
it wasnt really a great big success,
but, like mr tan said, it was a great learning experience.. blah blah blah

i think the exciting part was victoria school concert band joined us to perform
haha.. boys' school..
there's this sax player called sam
he's not very shuai but he's very friendly!

and yea, actually what surprised me was that they make mistakes...
rofl..
i think all of us expected them to play super well, and we were all practically playing whenever they played
so yea.. actually i think like once or twice i could have just played
but i apparently i was too scared..
it was like.. 4 bars rest, then got one note.. i played a teeny little sound but he didnt come in, so i stoped immediately, thinking i was wrong...
but i was correct!
lmao...

haha.. zoelyn played well for her solo
but she thinks she screwed it up
so felix, donna, ben & mee were trying to perk her up
but after a while i went to coach the juniors..
so i didnt know what 'strategy' they were using

1. try to distract her by telling her funny stuff or asking her random questions
2. try to add pressure by telling her she MUST do well for the other pieces

and they were using the first method
but i accidently told her to do well for the other pieces..
so felix told me off..

felix was unusually nice yesterday
and finally, after like almost 2 years together in the same section,
we're talking a bit..
talk as in chat ;P

i was kinda soft for my solo?
and i think the notes sounded very harsh...
but well, it's all over.
so i guess i should stop thinking about that and buck up

and thank you jun jie and christof (how to spell?)
for giving me last minute tips =]
haha!!

so sad jia hao and sharine werent coming this year...

just hope they come next year =]
